It’s a pity the Cambridge News don’t take advice from those suggesting they make more of the vast amount of content on their site and improve their traffic by providing a better service than resorting to these kinds of tactics.

Further, as an agency acting on behalf of the organisation you are promoting through your links, in the interest of disclosure and transparency, you really ought to have added the link back to your company when filling out the comment form. Not doing so makes it appear that you are hiding where you are coming from and what your intentions are.

We have created the link to Cambridge as they cover relevant stories about the red arrows (Red Arrows Air Show & Red Arrows Fly High ) and offer local news stories which we thought your users maybe interested in. Our intention was not to create “spammy” links, if you were talking about dishwashers then I would agree but its a relevant subject.

Google themselves do state that creating links in comments that offer further relevant sites for reading is exactly what they like to see, its social sharing. As you mentioned you link to Cambridge News in other areas which would not offer a maximum benefit anyway and as Capata mentions its a nofollow which only pass minimal “link juice”. We hope that you are not offended by our comment as the last thing we would do is create spammy links! We are white hat all the way!

Long may Marshall stay on the airfield!

I stood on Newmarket Road and watched the Red Arrows fly into Cambridge Airport. They first flew over in formation, emitting white smoke as they passed over the airfield. They then split up, half on one side of the runway half on the other, then came round to land one by one with only a few seconds between each plane..

After lunch the Red Arrows took off again. Ten jets lined up on the runway, all left within seconds of each other, with three groups of three taking off simultaneously.
