Weekly Newsletter

Welcome to your weekly update from the North NPT.

To start with this week; two good news stories:

A well known burglar was arrested this week for a burglary committed at an address on Minerva Way.

Also PCSOs Jolly and Eke, came across ’suspect of the day’ walking along Victoria Road, the male was approached and detained before being arrested for two crimes he was wanted for, when searched the man was found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin, he was subsequently arrested for that as well.

We are aware that schools will be opening for the new term over the coming weeks. Please be assured that parking issues around primary schools are being monitored very closely, in particular the Shirley Lower School on Green End Road. We are in contact with the schools on a regular basis and are working closely with them to reduce the number of parking issues there are during school hours.

As always please continue to report anything suspicious to the non-emergency number: 0345 456 456 4 or via Crimestoppers, an independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Best wishes from your North Neighbourhood Policing Team

PCSO Thomas Eke
