Mr Wilkins was attending in his role as a member of police authority. He said the West/Central area committee had not been in touch with him about the state of custody at Parkside. I asked Mr Wilkins if a re-inspection had been carried out. He said he didn't know but would be able to check. I also asked Mr Wilkins for his views on <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-10-21-taser-chest-advisory_N.htm" rel="nofollow">TASER International's advice that people should not be shot in the chest with the weapons</a>, he said he wasn't aware of that advice.
